Somehow some things grow only in some places.
They have roots, stem, leaves, flower and seeds. Then there is a name to it describing its nature. Nature of its shape, size, that its appearance is known. Its strength, longevity, that its character is known.
Their purpose becomes their usefulness in that place. Their appearance becomes their recognition in that place. Their character becomes their strength in that place.
Their choice to grow in appearance or in character or in harmony with their entire being of appearance and character determines their usefulness in that place.
People look and want to be associated with recognition of appearance. They have no appearance of their own. Some make-believe an appearance, some live to an appearance, some look-up to an appearance. How pretentious we have made this place.

People in harmony with their entire being of appearance and character, have an appearance and character of their own. They believe in their appearance and character. How real they make this pretentious place.
